How to Use Kora: AI Fitness Coach at Home

Jeetech Studio · 2026-11-06

What is Kora?

Kora is an AI fitness coach that builds a strength training plan around your home, your equipment and your week. There's no gym involved. It then coaches you through each session.

You tell it your goal, how many days you can train, how long you have and what kit is within reach. That could be just your body, dumbbells, bands, a mat or a chair. In about a minute, you have a plan that fits.

Kora is free to download, and your first workout is free. Kora Pro unlocks guided workouts, unlimited coaching and voice coaching.

Getting started

  1. Download Kora from Google Play and open it.
  2. Set your goal. Say what you want to work towards.
  3. Choose your training days and how long each session can be.
  4. Pick your kit. Select whatever you actually have at home, even if that's only a chair and a mat.
  5. Name any areas to protect. You can list knees, lower back, shoulders or wrists, and Kora keeps those moves out of your plan. If you prefer quiet moves with no jumping, say so.
  6. Choose a coaching style: supportive, high energy, direct, analytical or calm. Pick the one that helps you keep showing up.

The main workflows

Do today's session

When you open the app, you see one thing: today's session. It shows how long it takes, what kit it needs and why it's today's session. If you're short on time or travelling, you can change it in a tap.

Train one set at a time

Each move has a video demo and plain-language cues. During a session you can:

  • Log your reps and weight.
  • Use the rest timer between sets.
  • Tell Kora how each exercise felt, so the next session fits you better.

Your screen stays on while you train, so you don't need to keep waking your phone.

Warm up and cool down

Every workout can open with a short guided warm-up and finish with a cool-down, matched to the muscles you're training. The moves are timed, with simple cues and optional voice. You can skip either one whenever you like.

Talk to your coach

You can type or say things like "I only have 15 minutes", "my knee feels off" or "swap squats for something else", and your plan adapts.

Pick a workout by body part

If you want to target a specific area, choose chest, back, shoulders, arms, abs, legs, glutes or full body. Kora starts a ready-made workout for the kit you own: no kit, dumbbells or bands. There are also cardio bursts, no-jump cardio and guided mobility flows for stiff hips and desk shoulders.

These workouts sit beside your plan and never change it. They count toward a monthly challenge. On rest days, you get an optional gentle stretch.

Track your progress

  • Set a clear goal, such as 12 full push-ups, and retest every few weeks to watch it climb.
  • Check your weekly work, personal bests and full workout history.
  • Add progress photos with a guided check-in.
  • Share a finished workout with a friend.

Browse the exercise library

You can browse every exercise by muscle, search by name and filter to the kit you have. Open any move for step-by-step cues and a video demo. It's useful when you want to learn a move before you try it.

Tips for beginners

  • Be honest about your kit. The plan only works if it matches what you really own.
  • Give feedback after each exercise. Telling Kora how a move felt helps the next session fit you better.
  • Use the coach when life gets in the way. Short on time or feeling an ache? Say so, rather than skipping the day.
  • Don't skip the warm-up unless you're pressed for time. It's short, and it's matched to what you're training.
  • Choose a coaching style you enjoy. If one doesn't suit you, try another.
  • Retest your goal every few weeks so you can see real progress.
