What is Merge Bazaar: Diwali Merge?

Merge Bazaar: Diwali Merge is a single-player puzzle game set in a festival bazaar. You combine matching lamps, silks, spices and sweets, complete festival orders, and help Dadi bring her family home back to life.

The game has 64 levels across five festival chapters: Diwali Lane, Onam Courtyard, Eid Night Market, Puja & Pongal Pavilions and the Grand Mela. Each chapter introduces its own handcrafted boards, new pieces and another part of the story with Dadi, Meera and Chacha Imran.

Alongside the puzzles, you restore and decorate Dadi's home. The game is designed for warm, unhurried play and works offline.

Getting started

Your first task is to understand the relationship between the pieces on the board and the festival orders for that level. Completing those orders is how you clear the board.

Start by looking for two matching pieces. Drag one onto the other to merge them into something finer. As you play, keep returning your attention to the orders rather than merging simply because a match is available.

You will also encounter crates, jars, knots and threads that block your merges. Look at where these obstacles sit before choosing your next move. The useful question is: which available merge helps me work toward an order?

You do not need an account or login to begin. Your progress is stored on your device, which is useful to know if you usually expect games to keep progress through an online account.

How the core mechanic works

The central action is straightforward: drag two matching pieces together. They merge into a finer item, and you use the board's pieces to fulfill the level's festival orders.

A practical way to approach each board is:

  1. Check the orders. Keep the level's required items in mind as you examine the board.
  2. Find matching pieces. Look for pairs you can bring together.
  3. Consider the blockers. Crates, jars, knots and threads can interrupt your plans.
  4. Make a merge and reassess. Look again at the board and the orders before continuing.

If you change your mind about a move, the game includes an undo option. Use it when you want to reconsider a decision.

As you progress, you unlock three boosters: Fireworks, Needle and Sweep. These help with tricky blockers and can be bought with Lamps, the coins earned by playing. The listing does not describe each booster's individual effect, so avoid assuming what one does from its name alone.

Tips to progress

Let the orders guide your choices

The objective is to fill each level's festival orders. Before making a merge, consider how it contributes to that goal. This gives you a clear focus when several matching pairs are available.

Take time around obstacles

Blockers are part of the puzzle. Pause to examine crates, jars, knots and threads instead of treating every board as a simple matching exercise. Remember that undo is available if you want to rethink a move.

Connect puzzle progress with home restoration

Stars earned in levels restore Dadi's home room by room. Each restoration includes a style choice, so you decide how each corner looks. You can switch styles again for free, giving you room to change your decorating decisions later.

Explore the daily features at your own pace

Bazaar Day offers a fresh daily board and a festival event with rewards. There is also a daily gift calendar and family heirlooms to collect as you play.

Missing a day pauses the gift calendar; it does not reset it. You can return without treating a missed visit as a lost streak.

Understand optional extras

Rewarded ads are your choice and offer a hint, a Sparks refill or 50 Lamps. The game also offers a one-time Remove Ads purchase and fixed-price coin packs with nothing random. Keep these options separate from learning the basic merge-and-order routine.
